2014 is almost gone. Looking forward to 2015 with new classes!

January 30 will be an optional finishing class at A Sewing Basket, Salado from 10-2:00
January 17, the third Sat. Of the month, I am starting a Technique of the Month class at A Sewing Basket from 10-2:00 Double Needle Techniques
February 21, Technique Class will be Stitch Building Using Your Machine's Built-in Stitches. 10-2:00 at A Sewing Basket
February 27, Fabric Collage Jacket w/Sweatshirt Base at A Sewing Basket

Please let me know what techniques you are interested in learning-perhaps putting those supplies you have on hand to use. Also any classes. Coming technique classes will focus on Angelina Fibers, Lutradur, Tyvek, Foiling, Gelli pad fabric painting, and paint stiks and hot textile techniques--all of which can be used in wearable art or art quilts.

I'm very happy to be starting to teach again. The past year has been extremely hectic for me. We are very excited about becoming Grandparents end of Feb. or early March. Needless to say I'm making a lot of items for our expected grandson. Any of you interested in baby projects to save a bit of money? Let me know.

If you haven't been in A Sewing Basket for a while, you are in for a treat! Deb has bought the shop and it has a new look and wonderful fabrics. Stop in and say hello to the ladies.
